Vigilantism"Today's the day," I said lightly to myself. My head was drooping to the floor, my eyes concentrated on nothing in particular. After all, nothing was interesting anymore; staying in the same cell for day after day, week after week, even year after year, causes nothing to go unnoticed anymore. The same concrete floor, the same concrete walls. The same, small window, unable to peer through, but bringing in just enough light to know the difference between day and night. The same door that opened for an hour, allowing me to look at the same grass or snow and the same barbed wire fence. It was all the same, all the time.

Drew asked, watching as his mom put two ceramic plates on the table. "We're eating spaghetti." She answered. Drew looked sad, and his mother answered, "Oh, don't worry about your father! He's just going to be a little late again, that's all." Drew nodded, and helped his mother finish setting the table. About halfway into the meal, the front door swinging open could be heard. Ezra's SearchIt was an ethereal plane, far outside the human scope of what is perceivable as reality. All of history, in all its forms, seemed to be merely floating through the empty space. Nothing was truly there, however. Only a strange, spiritual representation of all that had ever been, will ever be. A lone entity floated among this euphoria of all and ever. This, Ezra, God of All Time, was in search for a new soldier, so to speak.
